Features and Benefits:

The Sunstone architectural limestone coating has such a natural appearance that it offers a unique surface like no other. But like all Sundek overlay systems, there’s no need to tear out and re pour concrete with the SunStone System.

Where to use It: Wherever you want to have a natural limestone coating, you can apply SunStone. It can be installed over a variety of different surfaces, including concrete, brick, foam, drywall, walls, cinder block, hardibacker, stucco, pre-cast moldings, and much, much more. SunStone will give you the look and feel of real quarried stone without the investment. As well, the surface look can be changed to suit updated finishes.

Some of the most common installations for SunStone include:

  • Pool Deck surrounds
  • Patios
  • Entryways
  • Driveways
  • Planters
  • Retaining Walls
  • …and almost anywhere you want it!

How it’s done: Only certified SUNDEK trained craftsmen can install the SunStone System. It is applied by trowel, and then the creative skill of the Sundek artisan installer achieves the custom look and textures. As well, hand-carved designs can be carved into the SunStone finish to create slate, travertine, flagstone, tile, or any other custom pattern. The mixture of hand- carving and the application of creative coloration systems, like oxides and stains, creates some of the most beautiful and most authentic looking decorative concrete surfaces around.
